Leaving the “classroom” atmosphere makes my students more independent and explorative. Even a short term activity changes their perceptions on the topic, lesson and people. Students totally changed their perception on the “process of education” by last activity on “Exploring Manas”. They started to see things in explorative perspective. They started to question issues and response critically. Some students try to response in writing form, others by painting and drawing. It displays an emergence and awakening of talents and skills of students who kept them due to some internal or external obstacles. The relationship between “teacher” and “student” change in a more student centered approach. Students are keener on approaching teachers with critical questions and solutions. Students are trying to be one step ahead from the teachers. These activities taught students to be aware of the life, society and culture out of the school.
