Building a city
Students of 1A class, under the guidance of their teacher, Ms. Nurzhamal Arzykulova, completed the project “Building a city”. The aim of the project was to develop children’s spatial thinking and use their imagination to create a model of the city. The children approached the task with great enthusiasm and this can be seen in the final works! The works are so different, but in each of them you can see hard work and unusual ideas.⠀
⠀
Аfter completing the work, children discussed where they would like to go in the first place after the quarantine. Different options were named, including a pool, art-school, of course, parks, but how nice it was to hear from the child: “Miss, I would also like to go to school”
⠀
It is possible to develop spatial thinking in children starting from 2-3 years old. It will help the child to master the skills of writing, reading, drawing, mathematics and others. And the example of the project “Building a city” shows that it can also be fun.⠀
