This year marks the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Kyrgyz language as the state language! Here at SRIS we celebrated the Kyrgyz Language Day with a special program.
World Mathematics International (WMI 2020) Final Round will be hosted online, and the students can participate in the competition from school or home.
The SRIS education team came up with a modular approach to teaching. Now the school is ready to handle whatever the pandemic throws at us and still deliver quality education. Some changes will improve the experience of our students long after COVID-19.
Silk Road International School Bishkek is prepared to teach in class starting September. However the current COVID situation can not be ignored.
For most grades school will start online on 24th of August 2020. However we will provide in school support to students who need it. The day of online learning at SRIS is clearly structured.
SRIS Teachers back to school as students. To teach at our usual quality level during the pandemic, teachers need additional skills.
School year starts in class for first graders. Grades five, nine and eleven are soon to follow if the situation allows.
