General information:

Open position for a Cambridge Primary homeroom teacher (Grade 1 to 5) at Silk Road International School.

At «SRIS» we need a qualified Cambridge primary teacher to teach English, Science and/or Mathematics following the Cambridge Curriculum.

Qualification requirements

  • Education required: Bachelor
  • Teaching certificate
  • At least one year of teaching experience
  • Experience teaching Cambridge Curriculum preferred

Languages:

  • English: C1 Level (Proficient user > Effective operational proficiency or advanced)
    • optimally as a native speaker.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating lesson plans and assisting in curriculum development
  • Applying various instructional strategies
  • Monitoring student progress
  • Managing classroom activities and student behaviour
  • Communicating with parents and guardians
  • Attending professional development classes and programs

Conditions

Start and Duration

This teaching position is starting on 8th of August 2022 with a two-week teacher induction training. Silk Road International School start the academic year on the 22nd of August 2022.

This position is a full-time position with a one-year contract, which will be prolonged for another year with mutual consent.

Salary

Salary and benefits are competitive and will be discussed during the interview.
