Midterm break: The school will observe a midterm break. Which will commence on Monday 2nd November 2020, and end on Friday 6th November 2020. Classes will resume on Monday 9th November 2020.

Online psychological seminars

SRIS is launching a series of online psychological seminars for parents aiming to help adapt to the realities of today’s world.

Learning Traffic Rules

Our Austrian homeroom teacher Mr Philipp developed a concept that is playful and fun, to teach our students the correct behaviour in the school cooridor during COVID rules and an understanding of traffic rules at the same time.

Tourism and Travel offers great opportunities for career and is guaranteed to keep your job interesting and challenging. In tourism you work closely with people and need a high service orientation. Meeting many interesting people and giving them a great holiday experience can be very rewarding.

SRIS uses Memsource CAT

SRIS is using Memsource in upper high school’s Russian and Kyrgyz courses next school year together with our Cambridge Course Media Studies. We started training our language team in the use of CAT and are using it to maintain this website in three languages.

Media Studies starting 2021

Media Studies offers the perfect background for a career in the fast growing sector of content creation, social media marketing and design. SRIS offers Media Studies as new Cambridge course. The subject Media Studies gives students a deep understanding of how media work, how content is produced and how consumers perceive the communication presented by the media. Media Studies students later work in broadcast & media, publishing and journalism, advertising and marketing or in a creative field.

SRIS to reopen on Tuesday

This is to inform you COVID-19 Headquarters announced that we will reopen school to resume offline education from Tuesday the 6th of October for grade 2-6, in addition to grades 0 and 1. Although we did not receive the official letter from the ministry of education, yet we are getting ready to prepare for offline education taking all the necessary precautions to the pandemic situation.
