In an attempt to create awareness of the challenges a luxury hotel faces in providing excellent service to its sophisticated guests, Orion Hotel has partnered with Silk Road International School for a hands-on training of SRIS’ IGCSE Travel and Tourism class.
“In order to maintain our high level service we need to be able to hire qualified, well educated and motivated young people”, says Orion HR. The hotel seeks to provide internships and make students aware of the career opportunities in the hospitably sector.
“Like many, I started my career in the service and in the kitchen”, said the Food and Beverage Director. “Today this experience enables me to manage these departments effectively.”
