About SRIS
Silk Road International School provides the best stimulation for young students to develop responsibility, integrity and self-motivation. «SRIS» is a Cambridge International School in independent ownership.
We are a Cambridge International School offering Cambridge IGCSE levels and Cambridge A-Levels. We teach the curriculum of Cambridge at Silk Road International School since 1999.
SRIS is a small school offering individual support to its selected students. Our homey campus, securely located in the 11th micro-rayon, offers all the facilities needed to provide quality education and familial atmosphere.

Cooperations provide real world experiences
Real World experience are important for students to acquire real world skills. We are proud to introduce the first signed partnerships with Karven Club and Orion Hotel for in-house seminars.
Nomadic Spirit
The musical Nomadic Spirit covers important events in Kyrgyz history and was created using project based teaching (PBL). Our students have shown an amazing performance at our Spring Festival, presenting this self produced musical.
College and University
We help our SRIS students to navigate their career options and assists them in the often complex application process.
Managing Multilingual Content.
SRIS students get trained in managing multilingual content. We train our students in ICT in using Memsource, a translation management software, which support many file formats and integrated website translation. Another reason why SRIS students are ready to take on important positions in internationally operating Companies after graduation.

MWB Math Awards
30 students were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze by Mathematics without Borders. MWB math competition has become one of the biggest Mathematics contests worldwide.
AMC Math Competition Winners
SRIS students participated in American Mathematics Competitions and won several awards. AMC are a series of examinations that build problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge.
Amazing IGCSE Results at SRIS
The first SRIS cohort of SRIS students passed the Cambridge IGCSE exams with phenomenal results, despite a short preparation time.
2nd and 3rd at BISA 🏀 Cup
The Silk Road (SRIS) Basketball team did well at this years annual BISA Basketball Cup. Every year the teams of the internationally accredited schools, organized in the Bishkek International School Association, compete against each other.

SRIS wins BISA ⚽️ Cup
In an amazing performance the SRIS football team won this years annual BISA Football Cup. Every year the teams of the internationally accredited schools, organized in the Bishkek International School Association, compete against each other.
SRIS uses Memsource CAT
SRIS uses Memsource in upper high school’s Russian and Kyrgyz courses. We are training our language team in the use of CAT and are using it to maintain this website in three languages.
Learning about Cashflow by playing a game
Our eleven graders trained their knowledge of financial planing by playing the game CASHFLOW® in their business studies class.
